About Historical-Research
English (USA)

This email list is sponsored by the History Standing Committee of the International Society for Music Education (ISME). The objectives of this forum are firstly to promote historical research in music education among postgraduate research students and secondly to provide a forum for all researchers in the field of music education history – both established and beginning researchers – to share information about topics of mutual interest including online resources such as historical archives, textbook and journal sources. We welcome subscribers from the History SRIG (Special Research Interest Group) of NAfME – the US-based National Association for Music Education – and all other music educators from countries world-wide who are interested in historical research in music education.
